New group suggestions

Anyone still interested in carrying on with the group?

Did you sell your share karb?

I've been discussing it with bmf and we thought that it might be worth carrying on if we came up with some ways to try and limit the amount of dire games we got. Some of the possibilities are:

-Having a cap on how much we spend per month, say we send $8 on the 1st of the month to bmf via paypal and then that $40 is the total budget for that month so we vote more carefully on what we buy.

-changing the voting from simple majority to one where we need 4 out of 5 to get a game or even it has to be unanimous.

Anyone still interested at all as I was looking forward to a few of the great games due out in the next few weeks and i'm weeping onto my keyboard at the thought of paying full price as I know that means I'll probably only get one if that.

yeh well i don't wanna keep using this account with a random since they could screw us all major by stealing the account and calling sony too deactive all the games. Gotta be careful:)

I agree with you about not carrying on with this account if karbs already sold up his share micky.

I'm glad to see you like the suggestions we came up with to address what seemed to be the two main issues karb and Dom had, namely the overall costs and the voting method.

I'd like to carry on in this group if possible as I feel I can trust you guys ok but if not then I'd like to know who is in and who is out. Either way, this group or new group, I propose the following ground rules:

Each member sends the account holder $8 on the 1st of the month.
Games are only bought after being voted on in the forum and getting 4 to 1 in favour
Games bought and balance left in pot kept track of in a thread in forum
In exceptional circumstances if a few brilliant games come out in one month we may go over budget but only if ALL members vote yes.

Who wants to join me in making a go of it with these new rules? If all five of us don't decide to carry on I'll start up a new forum so we can keep it nice and tidy.

Let me know asap as Burn Zombies Burn is out today and I've had my eye on that for months!

Sorry guys, Me and my school friends have just got 5 people who are willing to be in it. It would just be easier at school and more layed back if you get me..

yeah, that group between will be a bit easier cos i dont have wait for money to be put in my bank and everything and dont have to pay paypal fees and everything. so its a bit easier. Plus i can definatly trust these guys (not saying i dont trust you guys, know them for years though). Got some good games from here though, definatly think it was worth joining you guys.

I just got offered well 2 days ago a position with a mate in a sharegroup that just opened up. We buy every game unfortunely only 1 spot was available:(

I am leaning towards my earlier post of taking a break from gamesharing. I got so much to play and no time to do it and it is only getting worse . If this group stuck together I would have been okay but I dont feel like starting all over, like I said this was my second group. I am sure that you guys will be able to find new groups that work well for you.

It has been fun and nice getting to know you all. Good luck and hope you all do well in the future you are a great group of guys.

I just finished setting up a new US account. I put Burn Zombies Burn on it as a 'Welcome Gift' for the new members! Ten whole dollars for a game (not to mention the fees!) all to my lonesome! My pocket weeps!

All day at work I've been beavering away on the iPhone and I've set up a new email account, used that to create a new US PSN account, set up an online Visa card then used it to put funds on the new account AND set up a new forum!

All I need to do now is go home and click on buy Burn Zombies Burn and download it. (oh yes, and go find some new compadres too!).

I though uk accounts didnt work on us accounts?

i so cut as i didn't download so many games as i have a limit of how much i can download.

he changed password cos he didnt want anyone else other than him having control over something that we all paid equal amounts too.
