psn store update 30/10/08

anyone have any idea what's coming to the store this week? Ive been fishing about for news but haven't found anything yet.

Not too sure...but I am curious.

ive got a feeling that its not gonna be a big update. mostly demos and add on content

Tbh I don't mind if there are no new games as have plenty to play right now, hardly touched wipeout, siren or prince of Persia and got bioshock glaring at me from the shelf!

I heard today there is to be demo for mirrors edge. Be nice to see how it plays as it looks nice but I think the controls will make or break it being a first person platformer/action game.

I have games from June that I have only played once, so yet I am back logged, in fact I will probably never catch up, some games I dont want to anyways.

I am very curious about mirrors edge, I love the way it looks on the trailers.

I think I must hold the record for the oldest game not played yet. I have a copy of Ratchet and Clank on the shelf that has never been played yet!

The update did not happen until ~930 or so and then 30 minutes to DL mirrors edge any ways I went into it tired and annoyned and my mode did not get better. I love the concept and the look of the game and the chicks are hot, but the gameplay blows. I am sure it just takes some time to get it but it seemed to be pretty picky to me and seeing that the entire game is really based on jumping and moving at just the right time I found it hard, but more annoying. The problem for me is that you can't really see the last edge of the jump so it is hard to know when to jump, I mean I could tell approximately, but some of the jumps required accuracy. So I would jump and miss and fall and repeat like ten times gerrrr!

I was hoping to feel more in the game and possibly motion sick - didnt happen.

I will try it again though it is my first fp platformer and dont let me sour you out I dont like most demos. I hated uncharted and then loved the game.

im not gonna bother downloading demo, i dont hink it looks that good of a game.

it's a nice idea but a fp platform game will never work on a screen as you can't see enough of your surroundings to judge things accurately enough. Looks nice but is lacking.
I tried the new wrestling game and it is truly awful! Not tried endwar yet as had houseful of kids for Halloween! Will give it a try tomorrow.

endwar is not a bad game, if you are a big fan of rts's then i think youll like it but i dont think ill buy it.

I tried endwar real quick and wasnt too sure what was going on...either they need a better tutorial or I missed it. The wrestling game is bad and that is unacceptable, how many years has the wwe had a game, I mean buy now they should have it all figured out. I would love a simple wrestling game with that is not affiliated with anyone, like firepro but better. I doubt it will ever happen.

i hate wrestling anyway.
