As the ESRB predicted, Castlevania Chronicles will make its debut on the US PSN later today. Wired got word that the PlayStation uno remake of the 1993 Sharp X68000 title will come in the form of a PS Store download. The remake features improved graphics, remixed music, level redesigns as well as a rendered introduction and ending. At one point, this rare game would have fetched a rather fabulous price on eBay, but now gamers won't have to pay big bucks to join in on the Dracula hunting fun -- instead, the price of admission will be a recession-friendly $5.99.

If it wasnt redone I would say no, but with the remake features and price, I like it.

$5.99 sounds good to me. I'm stalking those trophies so hard at the moment I haven't even been able to give enough time to Valkyria Chronicles so this game will probably sit on the HDD but it looks good to have nonetheless!

I have one, it sucks, fuck me! They said improved graphics, I was thinking like street fighter improved, it looks like psone to me, sorry for the suggestion, even at our low discount price the marketing of this game pisses me off as it is not true.

I've not tried it yet and probably won't get round to playing it, but when i do and find out it sucks I'm holding you personally responsible bmf!

There are Four Epsidoes to the Penny Arcade game. Am just playing through Ep2 and it is better than the first one, they've twekaed a few things to make it better. Have only played CrashC for about 10mins to try it out.

Fired up that Castlevanis game for a laugh and it is ok-ish if you are into those old flat platformers and it reminded me of playing Castlevania on my SNES way back when but I don't think I'll be bothering to play it.

I heard penny arcade episode 2 has save problems?

I'm onto the last level and havent had any problems with saving.
