Got My First Car!
It's an old fiat MK1 punto 1.2L 8V 97" but it's in great condition for a 12 year old car. Got it cheap at only £250 and my dad who is an auto mechanic says it runs great!

We are going to do it up good and hopefully purchasing an induction kit tonight.

NIce car matey. I've always liked those old Puntos. What's the damage for the insurance? I bet it's ENORMOUS! Make sure you do a Pass Plus course as the cost of it is tiny compared to the discount you'll get off your insurance. Most insurers that take it give you equivelant to a years no-claims bonus.

Why would the insurance on that car be so much?

In england, new drivers usually have to pay loads in insurance, my bro had to pay £1000 in his first year :O

New drivers, especially teenage ones, and even more so male teenagers, are known for causing the most accidents and deaths on the roads in UK and so the Insurance companies charge them through the roof for insurance.
The main problem with this is that most of the troublesome ones just go out and drive with no insurance anyway!
