Who are we?
I am a college agriculture instructor, right in the middle of CDN. I have instruct plant science and sales type courses between Sept to April. On my holidays in the summer I take another job and visit farmers. Right now I have no courses and I am visiting high schools, so some days I am in the office and can post and other days I am driving around.

i'm still kind of confused. Like you do testing on plants? Or have i got it all wrong. Sounds very sciency though. I love science.
Re: Who are we?
I am involved in the business side of agriculture. Herbicidies, fertilizers, and seeds. These are all very science based but sales driven. In my classes there are always some UK farmers who had enough and immigrate over.

Re: Who are we?
A lot of Brits emigrate to Canada each year. It's the second most popular country after Australia. I can't believe I don't have any family there as we have itchy feet and close family of mine have emigrated to USA, Australia, NZ, Spain, Wales, Hong Kong and even Lebanon but none to Canada! Must be the cold weather!

Most in Holland? Offa Domma!
I went back to the old country and lived in Ireland for a while years ago but stuck with a mortgage and kids and crap now so don't think I'll be going anywhere for a few years now!

Re: Who are we?
Anyway, about me:
Am 32 and married, have 3 kids and another on the way. Drive an awesome Skoda Superb car! (really it is Superb!). Work as a signaller on the railway, my patch is on the line between Sheffield and Manchester. I control the trains through Totley Tunnel. My Signalbox is called Totley Tunnel( surprise surprise!)
Don't get out much with family, work and chores so like a bit of unwinding on the PS3.

I'm 16.
Sixth form at a catholic school. But I'm not catholic (don't ask)
Enjoy socialising
Enjoy ps3
And xbox too! But It has broken at the moment. Fuck me, they really do live up to their name
what can I say? I hate the cold weather at the moment, so icy and I cannot be bothered to go out to skate so i reckon i'll be unhealthy at the end of winter haha

Man, with three kids how do you find the time to play so much? You must have one hell of a wife

Re: Who are we?
Maybe you are just a super gamer - it took me two weeks or so to finish uncharted (just playing a bit here and there), but you finished twice on crushing in a week or so I think? Awesome!
I actually had to buy a second tv this summer just to get some gaming in.

Re: Who are we?
am i right in saying you have a killer TV bmf? Like 60" or so? or was that me making a mistake on the old forum
Re: Who are we?
I ended up playing Uncharted a total of seven times so the last two I pretty much did it with my eyes closed! I'm no game expert but after playing a certain game a number of times you get to know the AI and what to expect from them.
We've only got one TV in the house but it's a nice big 42" Panasonic Viera HDTV. It's a beauty.

Re: Who are we?
I understand now - Uncharted seven times is alot, do any of the corny jokes get funnier?
I have a 65' Hitachi CRT RP at 720p and a 50' samy plasma 720p both with 5.1. It really is not the size of the tv but the size of the room you put the tv in that makes the difference.

Re: Who are we?
WoW! A 65" CRT!?! That must be some BIG room you have that in. I know houses over there are bigger than ours but you must have a big house! I wouldn't be able to get that in my house it's so big!

Re: Who are we?
RP - rear projection, so it is larger than a projection lcd or dlp but not but that much more. For the size it was way less than half the price of anything else comparable and crt should last a long time, it is old tech so I hope there are no problems, it is only 2.5 year old and looking great. I would love to get a 73 sometime, actually someone just tonight was talking about 3d tv...new to me.

I measured out tv downstairs last night. 27" CRT haha
My parents don't seem to spend time watching that much TV so they don't really buy anything bigger
my dad has a rally car though. LOL

Re: Who are we?
The snow is not that great really, I mainly just shovel the driveway day after day lately. Here is the car I use to have before I got married
