Me and Ben were talking in ICT yesterday and saying that we now have loads of games and should Get the new guy to but a big game and not a small game such as GTi. We were thinking Socom...
That way we get a good deal out of it

I am dont know what my post count is, maybe 50, I stopped going there because of long load times.

Socom could be cool, although it did not get the best reviews, I think they have patched and fixed alot of it. Socom is $40, so if we didnt want socom could the new guy not just buy the next 4, $10 games?

Seeing you guys are way more current on ps3forums I trust your judgement on this potential new member.

Is SOCOM shareable though? Even if it is I'm not sure about it might prefer 4 $10 games.

Well you see my point is that if we havea a one big sum buy in price. We know that someone is not just going to come in and pay only £5 and get all of our games whereas one big payment means that he is dedicated. Does that make sence?
Unless we just asked $40 from him to put in the "kitty" as in BMF's pp account then we know hes legit.

I've just done a bit of research on SOCOM and it is like Warhawk and GT5P are in that it is shareable but it has a 24hr lock on it so once somone has used it on their PS3 no one else can use it for 24hrs so I am dead set against having that as the buy-in. I'd go with Karbs suggestion of putting $40 in for us to choose what to spend on and not allowing access to the account until the cash hits bmfs paypal.

Well I have got in touch with him and i have given him the paypal addy and is sending the money now. Hope this all goes well guys! He seems really nice

Yeah the group is pretty good even though you guys like some gay games like majhong and astro tripper , it still rocks. Karb and I were in a group before that I started through the ps forums but nobody really posted and I finally got stiffed on a game, so karb and I quit and started this group up.

The kudos goes to karb, he made the site and was able to find all you guys. I picked the guys in the old group and it bombed.

With the upcoming spring lineup we are sitting pretty.

At least with a group like ours we get to try different games. I know at least half a dozen of the games we have I would never have even considered buying but at 1/5th price I'm more than willing to go along if someone else really wants a game.

Yeah, its a good idea. i nether would have joined summot like this if it wasnt for karb, im usually not happy about paying people money for things if its not through a site like ebay or owt, but this im fine with. Even if bmf decides to take my money and run one day (I dont think you will) I still would have loads of games for a cheap price, so i wouldnt be as upset

I am not that upset about it, really I dont have an easy way to record, but if I come up with something I will let you know. How big is facebook over there, here with the younger generation it is huge. I dont do it, I am too old.

Most kids over here use Bebo or MySpace. Facebook tends to have an older userbase here (like me!) although as its got more popular over the last few years it's getting all sorts on it.

You should go on it. I just use it to message friends and share photos and stuff, I stay clear of all the rubbish games and applications and crap that swarms everywhere. My wife on the other hand has about 2000 applications on her facebook!

Yeh kevs right, bebo is for kids but now that my is in college and everyone is 16 17, facebook is the thing to have

Micky - I am still not sure what you do, we dont have to get too personal but are you a student or do you work? Just curious

I dont do the social networking thing - all the people I hang with are close and I already waste enough time on the net and stuff.
