Next Game?

I wasn't going to get pop even thought i LOVE cell-shaded graphics but Play had it for £17.99 and it seemed rude not to buy it!

there never seems to be any real online deals for games in canada - iam envous. And yes it would have been very rude.

lol, im waiting till january sales, and hopefully gonna buy fifa 09, and might pick up a copy of lbp if i find one cheap. I have quontum of solace for the pc for christmas which is only gamne im getting i think

I'm not really into football games but the boy likes them so I got FIFA 08 for £6 the other day! It may not have this seasons shirts but for the sake of saving £34 by not buying the 09 one I reckon it's ok!

I can relate to that. When I was going through the prestige ranks on cod4 the wife developedquite a dislike for the game!

Hey kev - I am pretty much done with COD5 and was thinking about spending $60 on POP, did you get it? If so, whats the verdict?

PoP is a great game with fantastic art and a well written story. It doesn't have a great deal of replay value though; once you've played through it a couple of times and got all the trophies there's not much incentive to play again.

$60 is about £35 and that's too much in my opinion, see if you can get it cheaper. I was supposed to be swapping mine with someone for their copy of Bioshock but I think they are just wasting my time so I was going to put it on eBay this week. If you want it you can have it for what I paid (£18 ) plus whatever the postage is, which I can't see being more than about £4.

Don't be worried about the condition as it's like new apart from missing the shrinkwrap!

thats a pritty good deal, 18 quid is definatly worth it. I was thinking of trying to find a cheap copy of cod4 again, it has a much better onine mode and i am getting bored of cod5 now. That should keep me going till killzone 2 hopefully. if not i could always get LBP of shopto for £20 (about $45 i think) whick should defo keep me goin.

I polietly declined, I told him it was the time difference, but quietly just between us the game isnt that good anymore. Also Dom really isnt that good - heard from karb that his K/D on most games is like .35 - ouch

@DOM: I saw LBP for £20 on shopto, what a bargain! I am not too happy with the jump mechanism on LBP but at £20 it is a lot of game for your moeny especially with all the user generated levels. I really wanted it so I bought it on day one for £40 and just one week later it was £30 and since then it seems as though they have a LBP mountain of games as they are virtually giving it away now!

I can sum up warhawk in one word "bollocks"

I feel so ripped off that i bought it for £20 on psn, and cos its on psn i cant even trade it in. I just think its a crap 3rd person version of dattlefield 2 which was much much better.

What do you guys think of hawx, I am thinking I might be sick of fps for a bit becasue my excitment for kz2 is reducing, hawx looks new and pretty good. I have never played a flight game other than gpolice and warhawk so I am not sure but I will wait and if the previews keep looking good I might get this.

Yeh it seems to look awesome to me. Friend played demo on xbox and said it was good.

yeah, demos not bad. Its an alright game for a flight game, cant really see how you can make a game like that better

Tried the hawx demo - not really my cup of tea, I will probably grab kz2 and ninja gaiden sigma tomorrow, depending on how I feel, I am starting to feel sick. NGS - has been in the back of my mind for months, tomorrow might be the big day.

What a weekend - I got kz2 and traded in cod4 and 5 for $77! It was hard to get rid of cod5 but for 40 bucks I had to do it.

kz2 is awesome but as i said about the demo the controls are off, have you guys read any forums, oh man, it is like when gta 4 locked up ps3. Everyone is going crazy, it is funny, but I do wish they would change the controls.

I didnt get ngs, I figure I will be busy with kz2 so I will wait longer for that to possibly drop in price.
