Next Game?

I will watch the video later when I have a chance, is it something you made? I watched the bonus round on gametrailers last night and it was interesting what is the best fps to come out for the holidays? Basically it is farcry 2 (the online is customizable!), R2, COD5, and maybe bioshock would be included. If you could only get one what would it be? Well, after some thought I think I would go to cod5, because I love cod4 so much, but I want to see some online play to be sure. Farcry2 is a close second but I watched some gametrailers footage and some of the graphics turned me off a bit, also user created maps are good and bad. I played some UT2004 on my PC and the user maps were so creative and crazy I never knew what the hell was happening .

I've edited it, however im delaying the release until 2009 quarter 4 as it needs beta testing ! lol

I think farcry 2 looks the best, and i loved farcry 1 soooo much.

Ha yeh FarCry2 looks brilliant.
I didn't really like resistance fall of man, just didn't seem that brilliant tbh.
But I think R2 looks nicely updated and polished nice.
Call of Duty World At War also looks brilliant. Going to get that

I'm probably going to get WaW too, it looks epic, but maybe for xbox as its at my dads and he has a better internet connection

Ive set up my new router instead of the one i got with orange, and so far it all works fine. Its a G+ MIMO Router which is better than the one i got with orange so im hoping I dont get any problems. Im just praying that it doesnt start to act like the previous router. If all goes well, ill proberly be buying more games for the ps3 such as cod5.

CoD:WaW

Will probably get a couple games at Xmas but not sure what to go for yet.

It's kind of like Advance Wars on the DS but in 3D. Sort of a strategy RPG. There is a demo on the PSN store now to download. try it, I think you might like it.

I don't know any of these games! lol, although I have got the demo of that Valkyria Chronicles but I haven't actually got round to playing it yet. lol

You really should try it; it's great fun and looks like it has great depth to it too. Also, the art style is by hayao miyazaki (spelling?) who does loads of great manga. it looks great.

Looking at videos, doesnt look to bad, i proberly wont buy it tho cos there is quite a few other games i want first.

I played it last night, I love the graphics and everything, very artistic.
But I couldn't handle it very well, my guy in the tank got killed and the manga guy just started to cry and say it was over lol!!

I know how temting it is to go steaming in with the tank but you have to support it with the other guys.

On my first playthrough I pretty much used the small bald stormtrooper guy and just steamed in and machine gunned everyone! He's a mean machine! The sniper is pretty good too just keep her out of the flowers as she has hayfever!

I put $50 down on cod5 last night! Getting excited I am still unsure about farcry2...it might be awesome but I dont think I would have the time for it and cod5.

I'll be getting new cod too. Have you seen the beta bids on YouTube? Those attack dogs look great!

i think im most likely be getting cod5 for the ps3 as I will be on gears of war 2 alot for the xbox as that looks mlike its going to be the best game of the year in my opinion

hey dom - how long would you say bioshock is to finish?


I just got the R2 beta tonight from qore, so if it is really good R2 might be on my list, but I doubt it...I will play it tomorrow and let you know how it is.

I didn't like resitance1 so I don't think I'll be bothering with R2. I'll get my FPS hit from CoD:WaW for the next few months and then am looking forward to KZ2.

erm, it wasnt a really long game, about 10 hours if i remember. its really really good to play through the night. I think i played it from like 10 at night through to 6 in the morning, its really addictive.

Kevin - I am looking at the exact same plan cod5 and then kz2, but dom and karb have gotten me excited about fc2...but I am unsure.
